Looking back at For Arch 2025: Innovations, trends, and a look into the future

For Arch 2025 once again confirmed its position as the largest and most influential construction trade fair in the Czech Republic, attracting more than 38,900 visitors and 525 exhibitors from various sectors, ranging from materials and technologies to timber buildings, photovoltaics, interiors, and complementary services.

TOPSTEP was strongly visible at the event and presented modern construction solutions and modular systems that attracted both industry professionals and the general public. According to Ondřej Chvátal, “The trade fair once again confirmed its importance as a key event for the construction sector. The exhibition area was densely filled with exhibitors from various sub-sectors, and visitor attendance was very strong. Our presentation generated significant interest and led to many inspiring meetings.”

The TOPSTEP team actively participated in discussions about current trends in the construction industry, and the fair confirmed that it is not only a hub for professional networking but also an important platform for presenting innovation and modern construction approaches.

This year, the fair took place at PVA EXPO PRAHA, together with FOR INTERIOR, which further increased its media reach and attractiveness. At our booth, we welcomed more visitors than last year. Thanks to a modern presentation concept and interactive panels, customers were able to literally experience the quality of our products.

What caught our attention

At For Arch 2025, it was evident how diverse today’s construction industry is and how it connects different fields—from building materials and modular systems to smart home technologies, timber constructions, and interior design.

“Customers were interested in everything from traditional building elements to modern modular systems enabling fast and high-quality construction,” said sales manager Ondřej Chvátal. There was also growing interest in technologies and security solutions that simplify everyday life.

According to Lukáš Kašparec, however, the fair did not attract only professionals: “We also recorded strong interest from the general public, who wanted to learn more about different construction possibilities.”

TOPSTEP at FOR ARCH 2025: interaction and visitor interest

The experience of TOPSTEP exhibitors shows that the fair is not only about numbers, but especially about direct interaction with visitors. Ondřej Chvátal appreciated strong interest in the CEMVIN STEP modular system, which impressed visitors with its speed and quality. Lukáš Kašparec also noted that the option of individual staircase and cladding configuration generated very positive reactions and interest in potential cooperation. Many visitors were initially hesitant to try it, but were ultimately excited that they could customize the product to their needs.

Modern interactive touch panels and configurators allowed customers to instantly receive non-binding quotations, compare “before and after” variants, and gain inspiration for their own projects. This enabled TOPSTEP to showcase the full range of its portfolio—from staircase modules to the TOPSTEP FLEX cladding system—and demonstrate how the combination of modular construction and personalized cladding can speed up construction processes and improve final quality. CEMVIN STEP and TOPSTEP FLEX played a key role in this presentation.

The sales managers also highlighted interaction with the younger generation. “Strong interest from students showed that young people are genuinely interested in construction,” said Ondřej Chvátal, adding that such contacts may lead to future talent recruitment and inspiration for innovative solutions.

Trends and innovations at FOR ARCH 2025

Among the main trends at the fair were faster project delivery combined with high quality, modular technologies, and interactive product presentations. TOPSTEP demonstrated that modular staircase structures using CEMVIN STEP and TOPSTEP FLEX cladding systems can significantly speed up implementation while offering aesthetically customizable solutions.

Contribution of the fair for exhibitors and companies

For Arch 2025 is not only about product presentation, but primarily about networking, business opportunities, and brand visibility. TOPSTEP sales managers emphasized that interactive configurators and LED presentations allowed visitors to receive their own offers within minutes, significantly increasing the likelihood of follow-up projects.
